Really From
"No, where are you really from?"
This interactive audiovisual album is a series of five responses to this question and an invitation to unpack the complexity of a personal history through simple controls. Each piece is procedurally generated with Paper.js.
In its full form, Really From is a physical installation with MIDI controls. It was first shown at the School for Poetic Computation's Spring 2018 student showcase. The following is a selection of three pieces from the series with an alternative UI.
